Brickfields Asia College (BAC) provides extensive support to students from their first days at the college till their graduation.
The BAC library is well stocked and provides access to an extensive collection of law reference materials, law books, statutes, regulations, law reports, databases, journals, law-related audio and video materials as well as an E-library collection.
BAC offers full reference services and research assistance to students, faculty and visitors. BAC library has flexible opening hours and the accompanying support services. Help is available during working hours, either in person, via telephone or by email.
A variety of Learning Zones have been designated to assist students in their learning; from vibrant group discussion areas to quiet study sections. There is also a cafť in the same building which provides coffee and light refreshments for the students.
Wireless access and computing facilities with the latest technology are also available in the library adjacent for the purpose of completing projects and assignments, reading and the sending of emails.
State-of-the-art computer laboratories have been set up at the new BAC Student Resource Centre. The laboratories are equipped with high-speed internet access and network points. Students will be able to access various online databases such as Lexis Nexis and Westlaw for their research purposes. All students are provided with internet log-in accounts and e-mail addresses.
BACís moot court replicates the functions of a modern courtroom and is unique in that it has been designed specifically for teaching advocacy. Under BACís Legal Skills programme, mooting offers students a practical educational experience through participation in appellate oral arguments and brief writing. Moot competitions are usually rigorous and aggressive in nature, reflecting the talent and dedication of the students who compete openly before a seated gallery.
